The German Empire’s Kaiserschlacht offensive has broken through France’s defensive lines and a Stormtrooper Platoon, with the support of an A7V tank, is rushing forwards along a muddy road with the aim of advancing as rapidly as possible into the Allied rear before a new defensive position can be organised to stop them.

Time to share some photos from the game I put on at Warfare (in Farnborough, UK) a few weeks back. No BATREP for these as I ran it about 12 times for different people but it was really great to get some positive feedback for BattlegroundHD and see a load of new wargamers trying the hobby out for the first time.

I ran another really fun intro game of BattlegroundHD last night at South London Warlords for 5 players. The scenario was an assault by a fully mechanised Soviet platoon against a British defensive position held by a couple of sections from the Black Watch with support from a 2-inch mortar and a GPMG and we managed to play it out to a full conclusion in a little over 2 hours - not bad!
